TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR WALK AND WAG
HOME FROM HOME BOARDING AND PET SITTING.
I will require a 50% booking fee upon booking your home from home boarding and pet sitting to secure your booking.
I will not be able to guarantee your booking unless this is paid.
Final payment of your booking will be required to be paid 1 week before your stay.
If payment is not received your booking is not secure and your booking fee will be lost.
Booking Fee is NON-Refundable
Walk and Wag is authorized to seek emergency veterinary care with release from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment, and expense.
Should a specified veterinarian be unavailable, I am authorized to engage the services of an alternative veterinarian. If you cannot be contacted in a timely manner, I am authorized to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian.
You agree to reimburse me for expenses incurred, plus any additional fees for attending to such an emergency.
I am not liable for any problems that occur from a known condition unless I have not treated the condition as required.
All dogs, by law, must wear a collar and tag with your information as well as being microchipped.
All dogs MUST be fully up to date with their vaccinations and their flea and worm treatment to come into my care.
If dogs show signs of flea or worm infestation they will not be walked.
These must be completed 2 weeks before care commences
Titre testing will be an acceptable form of vaccination along with a certificate and letter from the vet. Kennel Cough is highly advised by myself and the vets•
Photos & videos of your dog/s can be taken and used on social media/advertisements/websites etc.
You will inform me fully of any characteristics of the dog/s which need to be known for handling and care of the dog/s, especially any aggression issues.
Dogs will be kept on a lead whenever away from my property unless consent is received from you.
When walking the dog/s they will stay on the lead as per the laws of the land.
I will take care, so far as is practicable, both that the dog/s are not a nuisance or danger to anyone, or any other animals, and that no harm comes to it.
I will inform you of any incident or anything which I notice about the dog/s that I think you ought to know
I will visit your pet/s AM and PM unless otherwise organized with you.
Cat litter, food, medication, bedding, toys, and other pet essentials will be left for me. If in the event that I run out of these essentials more will be bought and left at your home with a receipt for reimbursement.
A key should be left with me or a code for the key safe.
I will use the key to visit your pet/s and for no other purpose. I will keep your key safe, not let anyone not employed by me have it, not copy it and will return it to you on demand.
RELEASE OF LIABILITIES
Walk and Wag agree to provide all services in a kind, humane, reliable, and trustworthy manner. You agree to notify Walk and Wag of any concerns within 24 hours of your return.
Walk and Wag reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer, at any time, for any reason.
Walk and Wag will immediately contact you if your pet/s displays aggressive behaviors or tendencies.
Walk and Wag will do what they can to help families with special needs pets.
Walk and Wag is required to report any bite incidents to authorities.
In case of an emergency, inclement weather, or a natural disaster you authorize Walk and Wag to use their reasonable judgment for the care and wellbeing of your pet/s and/or house.
You understand that Walk and Wag can terminate this contract if your pet becomes a threat to the safety or health of Walk and Wag or the community due to aggressive behavior.
You acknowledge you are responsible for medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to any person or animal caused by your pet(s).
You attest that all of the above information is true to the best of your knowledge. If anything changes with your dog, you will inform Walk and Wag before the next service is scheduled.
